Human Resources Update on The Minimum Wage. From 1 April 2018, the National Living Wage will increase to £7.83 per hour for those aged over 25 and the National Minimum Wage will increase to £7.38 per hour for those aged 21-24 years; to £5.90 per hour for those aged 18-20 years; to £4.20 per hour for those 16-17 years; and to £3.70 per hour for apprentices who are under 19. Statutory sick pay (SSP) will increase to £92.05 per week.
